Prediction: Blogging is coming back

Blogging has died. Bloggers were, of course, super disapointed that people now only read content inside ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude. They no longer go to the blogger’s blog. The blogger doesn’t sell ads that way. The blogger can’t do affiliate marketing that way. The blogger can’t sell their courses or informational products that way.

However, it’s soon coming back, because of GEO.

Companies and people will soon figure out they can’t get any visibility online without GEO. For GEO to work, everyone needs their own blog (entity data + Freshness signals + lived experience and EEAT) and they also need to appear on many other blogs.

So bloggers will soon sell positioning inside their blogs and blogging will make a huge comeback.

Prediction: Social Media Marketing will be coming back

more business owners will embrace it, because AI needs it for GEO and you can’t be recommended without it.

However, it’s good to not that Facebook and Instagram have realized their past mistakes also, and now give business owners more reach and visibility when they are starting out, to be able to grow a solid audience.

This is very helpful for small businesses and even online businesses or other types of entrepreneurial activities that don’t require a huge mass of clients.

So you will be able to start doing social media and get more reach and a growing audience for your business.

You will also be recommended by ChatGPT thanks to your activities (proper GEO writing will be required for that to happen of course ; + entity data and fresh signals)
